CPHS Families, Due to weather and road conditions, there are no on site or in person practices today, Feb. 15, 2021. Cross Country, Football, Girls Soccer and Volleyball will hold virtual practices that players need to attend remotely, coaches will send out info individually for access to practices. Cheer does not have a scheduled practice.

CPPS announced that because March 1st is scheduled as a half day, the district will make the day an online learning (synchronous) day to maximize instructional time. All students AM/PM/Remote will learn from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Specific schedules will come through the schools. March 4th & 5th are conferences and there is no school or meals those days.

Today is the final day for off site delivery of meals to Valle Lindo & Homestead. Starting Monday all students onsite will receive free meals at the end of their am or pm shift. Pickup is available for grab n' go at CPHS for all others 11:45-1:00 M-F.

College Place Public Schools Board Member Doug Case has retired from the board after eleven years of service (2009-2020). Doug served for many years as the Board Chair and was instrumental in the 2012 School Construction Bond that saw the district add College Place High School, a new Davis Elementary School, Sager Middle School (formerly Meadowbrook Intermediate School site), and a new transportation facility. When Mr. Case joined the district in 2009, district enrolment was nearly 500 students and now proudly serves over 1600. CPPS Board Chair Mandy Thompson stated, “On behalf of the board, I would like to extend a big thank you to Doug Case for his service on the CPPS School Board. His dedication to, and knowledge of the community, along with his leadership have been a huge assets throughout his time of service. Doug will be greatly missed and we wish him the very best.” The entire school district appreciates Doug’s years of service and wishes him the best as he plans to use the time to spend with family and to pursue some of his own personal goals. Superintendent Jim Fry stated, “Coming into the district I saw quickly Doug’s love and commitment to the students and community of College Place. He has been a tremendous mentor for me, and overall asset to the community. Doug has put in countless hours in ensuring the very best for the city and children of College Place. Best wishes on a well-earned retirement from the board.” College Place School District seeks an interim replacement for District #4 (at large) School Board Position to finish the term expiring November 2021. Changes to Free Grab and Go Meal distribution to all children 18 & under and students with disabilities through age 21. Beginning Jan 11, 2021 Davis Elementary School will return to AM/PM Hybrid Learning. Please be sure your child has eaten prior to arriving for their AM or PM classes. Free Grab and Go Meals will be distributed when students leave at the end of their on-site time. Meals will be served cold & include both breakfast and lunch. No drive up/walk up meals will be distributed at the Davis site. Drive through Grab and Go Children who do not attend on-site programs may continue to pick up Free Grab and Go Meals at the College Place High School/Sager Middle School, Valle Lindo and Homestead sites from 11:45am - 1:15pm. Watch for messages regarding additional changes as Hybrid Learning transitions throughout our schools.

Grab & Go Meals will be served on Monday 12/21 & will include breakfast & lunch for Tuesday 12/22. Meals can be picked up from 11:45am-1:15pm at CPHS/Sager Middle School, Davis Elementary, Homestead or Valle Lindo. There will be no meal service from Dec 22-Jan 1. Meal service will resume Jan. 4.
