Mark your calendar for the first "Community Connections" Meeting with Superintendent Jim Fry. Thursday, January 23 at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held in the Davis Elementary Library. Mr.Fry will discuss the upcoming Transportation Levy and the overall growth at CPPS.

College Place Public Schools will dismiss early tomorrow, November 27th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. There will be no school on November 28-29. We wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!

Today, under the advisement of College Place Police, we placed the district into modified lockdown due to a community situation that involved to suspects who were possibly armed. We followed our standard protocol placing schools in the modified lockdown. After we were advised that a perimeter had been secured, we released CPHS and Sager at approximately 1:25. At 1:40 were notified that the situation ended and the modified lockdown at Davis was also lifted.

CPPS staff going through ACEs training today for professional development. We are learning about adverse childhood experiences and how we can all build resilience. This training will equip all staff to better assist our students with learning!
