What’s on the February 10, 2026 ballot? Voters will consider a four-year renewal Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) levy. Rate: : $2.50 per $1,000 of assessed property value. Years covered: 2027–2030. Purpose: Fund local programs not covered by state funding.

CPPS School Board approves 2027-2030 EP&O Levy Renewal on 2/10/26 ballot. Same rate ($2.50/$1,000), same exceptional outcomes for kids!

What would the proposed renewal levy fund? If approved by voters in February 2026, the levy would provide local funding for classroom and instructional support staff, student safety and health services, extracurricular and athletic programs, and technology.
How are Washington public schools funded? 70% of our district’s funding comes from the state, but local voter-approved levies fill the gap for important programs and services.

Our current Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) levy, approved by voters in 2022, will expire in 2026. This February, voters will consider a renewal levy proposal to continue funding key student programs and staff for 2027-2030. Our levy funds things like additional staff (which means smaller class sizes!), athletics, the arts, music, health services, counseling, and more!

What’s the difference between a bond and a levy? Bonds are for buildings. Levies are for learning. Both are approved by local voters and fund different needs for our students. College Place Public Schools will have a renewal Education Programs and Operations (EP&O) Levy on the February 2026 ballot.
