College Place Public Schools has named Scott Kasenga as the next Principal for John Sager Middle School. The approval by the School Board was made at the February 27 Board Meeting. Mr. Kasenga will assume the position on July 1, 2018.
For those of you who do not know Mr. Kasenga, he is thecurrent Assistant Principal at College Place High School. He and his wife Amy along with their two daughters, Dacia and Shea moved to the Valley in 2016 from White Salmon, WA. While there, Mr. Kasenga spent 20 years at Columbia High School and Henkle Middle School holding various positions in which he greatly impacted his students and athletes. Mr. Kasenga is a steady force here at College Place Public Schools and we know he will continue to contribute with his many talents at John Sager Middle School.
The current principal of John Sager Middle School, Dale Stopperan, will retire at the end of this school year.
