8th Grade Promotion

Dear Eighth Grade Parents, 

I am incredibly appreciative of our students, parents, teachers, and staff for their positivity and flexibility during the school year. Parents, thank you for encouraging your child to finish strong! We are excited to celebrate the achievements of our eighth graders on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 6:00 PM at John Sager Middle School. We will host our annual Drive-Thru Sager Promotion.

We want all families to enter the Sager/CPHS Campus through the Stadium Parking Lot by 5:45 PM.  In the Stadium Parking, we will stage families in their vehicles. Each student’s family is allowed ONE vehicle. We HIGHLY encourage families to customize their vehicles with decorations celebrating your student and their achievements. At 6 PM, we will have the families drive through the bus lane. Sager Staff will be along the route with gifts, candy, and their eighth-grade promotion packet.

Follow the balloons to the Sager entrance, where you will have a photo opportunity, then proceed towards the reader board and take a left to exit on College Avenue. These directions will help direct traffic, but more importantly, celebrate your student’s promotion. As the family vehicle proceeds through the campus, everyone should stay in the car. 

After the promotion drive-thru, families are welcome to go to the  Milton Freewater Drive-In Theater located at 84322 OR-11, Milton-Freewater, OR 97862. The student speeches and movie, Disney’s ENCANTO, will start at dusk approximately 9:00 pm. Students are expected to stay in their vehicles with their family.

Queridos padres de octavo grado,

¡¡¡Felicidades!!! Esta carta es lo que todos han estado esperando desde que su estudiante llegó por primera vez a la Escuela John Sager. Ha sido un placer ayudarlos en su viaje educativo. El personal y yo hemos disfrutado viéndolos crecer en su escolaridad. Creemos que su estudiante prosperará a su próxima experiencia académica debido a las bases que ya recibió en la Escuela John Sager y la Primaria en Davis.

Estoy increíblemente agradecido con nuestros estudiantes, padres, maestros y personal por su positividad y flexibilidad durante el año escolar. Padres, ¡gracias por animar a su hijo a terminar fuerte! Estamos emocionados de celebrar los logros de nuestros alumnos de octavo grado el the speechstudenmartes 14 de junio de 2022 a las 6:00 p. m. en la escuela secundaria John Sager.Celebraremos nuestra promoción anual Drive-Thru.. Nos gustaría que todas las familias entrarán al campus de Sager / CPHS al estacionamiento del estadio antes de las 5:45 p.m. En el estacionamiento del estadio, nosotros vamos a dirigir a las familias donde irán en sus vehículos. Cada familia de estudiantes está permitido UN vehículo. Recomendamos a las familias que personalicen sus vehículos con decoraciones que celebren a su estudiante y sus logros.

A las 6:00 p.m., los vehículos de las familias pasan por el carril del autobús. El personal de Sager estará a lo largo de la ruta con regalos, dulces y su paquete de promoción de octavo grado.. Siga los globos hasta la entrada de Sager, donde tendrá la oportunidad de tomar una foto, luego siga adelante y gire a la izquierda para salir en College  Avenue. Esto ayudará a dirigir el tráfico, pero lo más importante celebrar la promoción de su estudiante. Mientras el vehículo de su familia avanza por el campus, todos deben permanecer en el automóvil. 

Después de la promoción, las familias pueden ir al Milton Freewater Drive-In ubicado en 84322 OR-11, Milton-Freewater, OR 97862 – Disneys ENCANTO. Los discursos de los estudiantes y la pelicula comenzará    aproximadamente a las 9:00 p. m. Se espera que los estudiantes permanezcan en sus vehículos con su familia.
