Student members of the College Place High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter competed in the regional competition at Columbia Basin College in Pasco on February 7. FBLA is the premier organization for student leaders preparing for careers in business, management, entrepreneurship, and technology. It offers students an opportunity to compete in up to 94 different events across high school and middle school grades.
\r\n“One thing that makes this competition so rewarding is to see some of the surprising performance of our students” FBLA adviser Scott Reardon offered. “There were several Hawks who performed way better than I would have ever predicted.”\r\n

\r\nIan Scholl: Broadcast Journalism (3rd) Health Care Administration (4th)\r\n
\r\nAlex Smith: Advertising (2nd)\r\n
\r\nTiana Tran: Spreadsheet Applications (3rd), Word Processing (4th)\r\n
\r\nOther students who competed were Richard Pontius. Travis Bradford, Southeast Region Vice President, served as Master of Ceremonies for the event. \r\n
\r\nMany of the students will be eligible to compete in the state competition in Spokane on April 8-11, 2020
