I am sure most have seen the news by now regarding advancement to phase 2 for our South Central region as was announced yesterday around noon. Now the entire state of Washington is in phase 2 of the Healthy Washington Road Map to Recovery from the DOH and Governor. We have been told the DOH dashboard and site will be updated to reflect that change to phase 2 on Tuesday, but the change is effective immediately.
This is very exciting news for many reasons, especially for our students participating in athletics and activities!!!!
Phase 2 allows ALL CPHS FALL SPORTS to now have competitions with other teams! That being said, due to the delay of a couple days with the error in metrics, weather issues and some practice cancellations we have had to make some changes to our games schedules. We are now targeting some competitions for certain sports beginning later this week on a case by case basis. We are working to make those schedule changes reflective online at cphawksatheltics.com as soon as possible, it does take some time for updates to be approved and shown live. Schedules should be updated there by the end of the business day on Tuesday, Feb. 15. Use the calendar feature or search for each team/schedule by using the season drop down menus.
