Henderson Orchard is a foundational coach in the College Place High School Softball program and has coached and helped grow the program for the last six years. He is always willing to go the extra mile to help out the program, and more importantly, the athletes. Whether staying after practice to work with athletes that wanted extra work, dragging the field, running errands, or stopping to buy forgotten belts and pants, Henderson was always there to help. The number of hours Henderson has spent helping CPHS Softball are too high to count!
\r\nHenderson has a passion for teaching kids the game of softball as well as relating softball principles to real life situations. This not only helped the players mature and grow as softball players, but as people as well. These few words cannot begin to describe the meaning and impact Henderson has had on our College Place Softball program. His impact will be felt for years to come. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for his hard work. \r\nHenderson may be leaving us, but many of his drills, sayings, and pieces of advice will still be around, and hopefully he will as well from time to time as well. Remember, once a Hawk, always a Hawk!
