Intro to Media students-Hawk Tank

The Intro to Media Communications students have been creating, marketing and pitching products for Hawk Tank for four years.  This Media created project has been a favorite of students in the program since it's inception.  Media students create or invent products, compile a marketing plan, create a prototype, design logos and then advertisements using the logos and slogans they create, discuss which form of persuasive adverting they would use (pathos, logos or ethos).  They then use their multimedia storytelling experience to storyboard and then produce a commercial for the product.  Today they are dressed to impress as they pitch their product in this year's Hawk Tank.  This year other classes are participating in their version of Hawk Tank and students with the most viable products will move on to a final round and will compete for up to $1000 (support from GESA) in start up seed money.  In Media, we #dothethings.
