On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, there will be an all-school assembly at CPHS from 1:30-2:30. WSU GEAR UP is bringing Alex Sheen who will deliver a 1-hour keynote speech about the importance of honoring your promises.
Sheen will tell emotional and inspiring stories that have been shared with him through his "because i said I would" campaign. He will also speak about his personal experience in leading the social movement behind because I said I would.
The keynote will end with a strong call-to-action activity that connects promise cards (every student will receive 10-Promise Cards) to the lives of the students and faculty at College Place High School.

- Increase goal attainment rates
- Create sense of purpose
