Happy Halloween, Davis Families! Today, we will be hosting the Literacy Parade, starting around 1:30pm. Feel free to watch in person, or join via Zoom! We will be inside or outside, depending upon the weather. If we must move inside, families may watch in the gym; if we are outside, families may watch in the park! If watching in person, please arrive well in advance of 1:30pm. Zoom details will follow this text.

Davis Families: Just a reminder of the Bicycle Rodeo being held on Dragon Drive tonight. UPDATED TIMES - Event starts at 5:00 and will conclude at 6:30pm! Bring your child and bike; practice riding in a safe environment; free bike helmets and free bike tune-ups! A taco truck is on-site as well! ~Blaze

Saturday, September 24th from 6:30am-5pm the Hawks Volleyball Team will be having a fundraiser at Walla Walla Daily Grind on the corner of Rose and Myra. 20% of the sales for the day will go to the Hawks to help support tournament expenses, summer league fees, camps, etc. Come support Hawks Volleyball!

CPPS is having a Registration Fair August 17th, from 8:00 to 3:00 at each school location. Come and enroll your student(s) for the 2022-2023 school year, get assistance with the online registration process, meet with the nurse for student health needs or concerns, sign up for sports, and learn about clubs. The WWCDH will also be available to keep students current on school vaccinations. This is a great way to make sure your student(s) is ready to start school on Monday, August 29th. Please remember that students will not be assigned a teacher, class schedule, or bus route until the online registration process is complete. If you are a returning family, you can simply register your student(s) now by logging into Skyward Family Access and completing the 2022-2023 registration steps or stop by the Registration Fair for assistance if needed. Hello Dragons! Monday is our Davis Fun Run. Please make sure students are wearing good walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. A water bottle is a good idea as well. If you have signed up to volunteer, please check in at the front doors by 8:15. Thanks for helping make this a fun and safe event! ¡Hola Dragones! El lunes es nuestra Davis Fun Run. Good Afternoon, Davis Families! Do you have an INCOMING Kindergartner this fall, or know of another family who may be planning to enroll their 2022-23 Kindergartener at Davis? If so, please accept this invitation to our 2022-23 Kindergarten Carnival! Thursday, May 12th, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Davis Elementary. Families with incoming Kindergarten students are invited to join us for pizza, popcorn, games, and more! Kids can tour a Kinder classroom, meet Blaze the Dragon, play some fun games, and fill a goodie bag! Onsite Kinder registration and community resources will be available! Davis Families: If you use Dragon Drive for Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up, we would like to invite you to continue to help us keep the process safe. Please do not stop vehicles in the middle of crosswalks; please pull over and stop parallel to the curbs while dropping off and picking up children; please park in the Upper Lot if planning to park or leave your vehicle unattended; please use identified crosswalks when walking across Dragon Drive. CPPS School Cancelled Thursday, January 6, 2022--Due to hazardous road conditions, freezing rain, and temperatures that are not projected to warm above freezing until mid-day, CPPS has reached the decision to close schools. Student and community safety is paramount and additional drivers on already icy roads will make conditions worse. Stay safe.

Due to today's full school closure for road conditions and staffing, all athletics and after school activities for CPHS, Sager and Davis are CANCELLED for Jan. 3, 2022.
