College Place High School

Students in Trimester 2 Leadership Class recently applied for Leadership class management positions for 2018.  Students applied for positions such as CEO, CFO, Marketing and Advertising Manager, Hawk's Nest Manager, Inventory and Ordering Manager and more.  15 management positions were up for grabs; students applied and competed for positions that were of interest to them.  Pictured above is the unveiling of their awarded positions.  Students gain valuable management experience in leadership class as they lead teams and prepare for and manage the Hawk's Nest Cafe'. "The skills honed while in leadership serve as an asset to any resume', added Mebes, Leadership Instructor.  Some students take Leadership for one trimester while many take it for more than one trimester as they return to train new students in the class.  Mebes added, "I wish there was a class like this that taught real-world skills such as professionalism and project management when I was in school."  #CPHawksLeadership
