Today the Media Communications class was visited by an Adverting Sales Manager and Producer from Spectrum Reach Communications. Students were offered the unique opportunity to work in tandem with the company to write, pitch and potentially produce TV commercials for local businesses. Mrs. Mebes, Media Teacher, shared that students just completed a chapter on advertising and the students are so excited about this project. Mebes added, that the project will give our students real world, professional marketing, advertising, public relations and project management experience and the completed projects will serve as a beneficial portfolio piece for each media student.
