Last night the Boys Basketball program continued their tradition of "Honorary Coach”. An honorary coach is chosen by one member of the Boys Varsity team to recognize them for their impact on our student-athletes on and off the court. Mr. Matthew Hunter was chosen as honorary coach for the WWVA game. Mr. Hunter recently retired from the U.S. Navy and currently teaches Computer Science courses at CPHS. He uses his dynamic personality and contagious laughter to reach his students both in the classroom and outside the classroom. Joel Jameson and others on the CPHS Basketball team would like to thank Mr. Hunter for always caring through the ups and downs and bringing both deep thought and joy into our lives.
