Why a School Resource Officer?

College Place Public School partners with College Place Police Department to have a full-time, police officer in our schools daily. We know that having an officer improves safety for students daily through the relationships it builds with them and the community. We are proud of our relationship with local law enforcement.

Also, we know that the presence of a police officer at our campuses dissuades other unwelcome activity at our schools.

Officer Schild monitors our schools, our parking lots, the roads surrounding our schools, and our neighborhoods daily on behalf of CPPS and CPPD.
