Getting the technology devices checked out was huge! Thank you to everyone who helped.
Sager MS is at 372 students, this is great news. Last school year ending we were 382.
Sager Academy was scheduled to start Monday with 60 students but due to the smoke it has been delayed. Para-Pros for that program are training on writing lessons for the students. Writing is a great way for students to become more fluent in their reading.
Excited for the upcoming hybrid learning model. If the current Covid-19 numbers hold through next week, we hope to bring students back into the schools.
May need volunteers to help on October 19th to guide students back into their classes
Teachers have been tracking high/low engagement levels and para-pros will be reaching out to the low engagement students/families next week to find ways to increase their engagement.
Mr. Blake spoke about the sixth-grade team. They have been working really hard to get to know the students and teach them proper online interactions and how to effectively interact in a virtual classroom.
Week-one of school was getting students more comfortable with the new technology and platforms, week-two has been teaching new material. It’s a learning curve for both students and teachers, as the teachers are having to find new ways of teaching material in some cases.
Next meeting: Wednesday, October 14, 2020 7:00-8:00pm
