I have an important update regarding the CPHS Fall Seasons, specifically CPHS Cross Country. Today, the South Central Athletic Conference Schools voted to hold Cross Country during the WIAA Season 3 period which is set to begin on March 1, 2021. CPHS will not offer any alternate sports seasons during the Fall (WIAA Season 1) for the 2020-21 school year.

We hope to have an opportunity to have athletes take part in the out of season team activities and workouts if permitted. That new modified WIAA out of season time frame is from Sept. 28 to Nov. 30. This will allow schools to offer sports opportunities for various activities with coaches in an informal setting like we do most years during the summer sports window. This is tentative at this time, and the availability will be decided as we learn more about the upcoming school year, and continue to work closely with our local DOH and within the WIAA guidelines for a potential safe return to sports.
