Senior Garrett Green with a Dream Lab 3D Printed Face Shield

We have some amazing students!

Even during the school closure, students in Dream Lab are continuing to grow and learn, and contribute to our community in powerful ways.

Students such as Claurisa Davidson and Garrett Green have been working closely with Mr. Trop on building, from scratch, 3D Printers and networking with local health agencies such as Providence Hospital, and Regency at the Park to produce for them, plastic Face Shields that can protect health care workers from the spread of COVID-19. They have printed and delivered over 150 units these past few weeks.

Currently, these students are now working with a local dentist on designing and building a prototype customized Face Shields that can accommodate a dentists light and magnifier gear. Mr. Trop is quick to point out that these students deserve all the credit, citing the many hours of work these two students are putting into this project to serve our community.

Way to go Garrett and Claurisa! Go Hawks!! #CPHSstudentsrock!
