To our CPHS Spring Athletes,
This is hard.
This season has not gone how we hoped it would, a fact which grieves us all. We wish that we could watch you score goals, hit home runs, make a hole in one, set a new PR in your event, show off your tennis skills, learn from winning and losing, improve your skills, and work and grow with your teammates. We wish we could watch you compete in the postseason and represent what it means to be a Hawk throughout our state.
Please know how proud we are of all the time and effort that you have put into your sport, and who you are as athletes, students and people. Your positivity and response to adversity will guide you well in the future, and many lessons are learned through the toughest of times. Keep working hard when nobody is watching! Be the best student you can be, the best son, daughter, brother and sister you can be, and find ways to compete daily to feed that thirst that is missing from this season.
Thank you for your investment in athletics at CPHS. We can't wait until we are able to be back together, but until then, you are in our thoughts and we wish you the best.
