Good evening families,

This is Robert Aguilar, principal of College Place High School with an important announcement regarding school on Wednesday, October 16th.

This Wednesday, October 16th we are providing the PSAT and SAT for many of our 10th and 11th grade students who have registered for these national exams.

As a result, we will have a modified bell schedule for this day.

Students who take the bus to school, will still be able to catch their bus at the normally scheduled pick-up time. However, students who are not taking the PSAT or SAT, do not need to be at school until 1:00pm, at which time they should report to their 1st period class. Students who arrive at the normal arrival time from the bus, or students who plan to attend academic lab, may still come to school at 8:00am and will have designated areas for them to be.

10th or 11th grade students who still wish to register for PSAT or SAT exam for this Wednesday, may still do so. They must go see Ms. Silva-Ponds or a Pathway specialist tomorrow, Tuesday, October 15th to register.

Students who are taking the exam, will find their testing location posted on the wall outside the Hawk Haven Wednesday morning. Please ensure your student get a good night’s sleep and has a healthy breakfast prior to taking their exam.

Thank you, and if you have any questions you may reach out to the main office at 509-522-3312.
