Organic is the way to go!
Tip #1
Buying organic, free range pultry, meat, and eggs is a start to a healthy diet. If organic products are unavailable or difficult to get, then the next best choice is free-range, antibiotic- and hormone- free poultry, meat, and eggs. This way, at least they did not receive antibiotics and harmons.
Next, begin with buying the produce that tends to have the highest pesticide residues organic.
Some examples would be:
Fruits: apples, pears, cherries, strawberries, nectarines, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries.
Vegies: Bell peppers, hot peppers, spinach, celery and potatoes.
Tip #2
Breads
Sprouted grain breads. Make sure to check that its not unbleached enriched wheat flour or refined wheat flour. If you can't get the sprouted grain bread, your second choice should be the Rice Flour Breads. These are breads that are free of gluten and wheat, which are better digested. Look for the "Brown Rice Flour" as the 1st ingredient.
If you can't have wheat or gluten at all, you could also buy the "Split Bread". Do make sure it does not have the following in its ingredients:
* High fructose corn syrup
* Wheat Gluten
* Hydrogenated Oil
* Artificial flavor
* Artificial Sweeteners
