DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION I am Tim Payne, school district superintendent. Welcome to the College Place Public Schools via our website. "Focusing on kids and their learning" is our vision. "Preparing kids daily for their future successes" is our mission. These statements serve as the guiding principles by which we educate our children. I invite you to partner with us as we daily endeavor to carry them out. During the 01-02 school year a team of people began the process of developing "strategic goals" for the district. We finished those goals in the 02-03 school year. Also during the 02-03 school year a team of people from each building developed "school improvement plans" (SIP). These plans are living documents that will serve as action plans for our strategic goals. I encourage you review these plans and inquire about their implementation. The district and community continues to pursue the addition of a high school for the College Place School District. Please contact the district office regarding our collective progress on this exciting endeavor. Should you have any questions or comments about the educational opportunities of our young people, please don't hesitate to call on my staff or me. I also wish to extend an invitation to visit our district. Finally, life provides us with many choices. I encourage you to choose to build effective relationships, attain and apply a positive attitude, and to participate with us in our mission and vision.
