Davis Elementary School serves students from kindergarten through third grade. In addition to standard classrooms, multiage classrooms for grades 1-2 and a "looping" classroom for grade 3-4 are available options. Kindergarten is in session half-days. Davis has a full-time principal, librarian and guidance counselor. Classes are held from 8:10 to 2:15 p.m. Enrollment at Davis for fall 2003 was 409.

The mission of Davis Elementary is to provide students the opportunity to:

• Acquire the skills, knowledge and information necessary to become life-long learners
• Communicate and present ideas in an organized way
• Listen and interact with others in a positive way
• Use good judgment and imagination in perceiving and resolving problems
• Develop an acceptance and appreciation of themselves, others, and the essential interdependence between individuals, communities and nations.
